You may add features or upgrade your subscription at any time. The additional features or upgrade will take effect once payment has cleared. At this point, you will be able to access your upgraded service.

Our self-learning robo-interface, “ Alphie TM ”, works with you to understand your investment style and can propose investment ideas and forecasts for your portfolios and watchlists. The algorithm driving Alphie TM is based on time series prediction theory that is built into an artificial neural network. The accuracy of the robo-advice is crucial to the success of the platform, for this reason, Alphie TM is constantly re-calibrated and back-tested to make sure it can rapidly adjust to market phases and cycles in the best interest of our clients and subscribers. Alphie TM and the AI platform on which it operates have been under continual development since 2015.

“Target price” is the price forecasted by AlphieTMfor the corresponding investment horizon.

AlphieTMis based on a complex machine learning platform which takes market-based information, such as prices, volumes, volatility as input. Forecasts are produced on a given day based on end-of-day market information that is available from the previous trading day. In this respect, AlphieTMuses end-of-day prices and volume and does not utilize near-time or real-time high-frequency information.

Upside/downside means the percentage change in end-of-day prices that is forecasted by AlphieTMfor a given investment horizon.
4. How the Value-at-Risk (VaR) is calculated?

The Value-at-Risk is calculated using an historical simulation approach based on the daily realised returns over a given time span. We calculate this to a 95% confidence level of the empirical distribution of daily realized returns over the last three months.

The “Probability of Upside” represents AlphieTM’s estimate of the probability of a price increase over the next 30 days (ie if the probability of upside is lower than 50% means that AlphieTMis expecting a price decrease).

Current volatility is based on an historical estimate of realized volatility over the last three months. This is consistent with the longest investment horizon for which AlphieTMproduces forecasts.
